1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a ride, using our website, or contacting our services, you:

• Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
• Confirm you are at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Service Description

GMP Cabs provides taxi booking services in Bangalore and surrounding areas, including:

• Local Trips: Within city limits for daily commuting and errands
• Outstation Trips: Inter-city travel for business or leisure
• Airport Transfers: Reliable pickup and drop-off to/from airports
• One-Way Trips: Flexible one-way travel without return charges

We operate 24/7 and strive to provide safe, reliable, and affordable transportation.

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 How to Book

3.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation message from us with:

• Driver details and vehicle information
• Pickup time and location
• Estimated fare (where applicable)

3.3 Availability

While we operate 24/7, ride availability depends on driver availability, demand, and location. We cannot guarantee immediate availability at all times.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Fare Structure

Our fares are based on:

• Distance traveled (kilometers)
• Duration of the trip
• Vehicle type selected
• Time of day (peak hours may have surge pricing)
• Additional services (tolls, parking, waiting charges)

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash payment to the driver
• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
• Credit/Debit cards
• Digital wallets

4.3 Additional Charges

You are responsible for paying:

• Toll fees, parking charges, and state taxes
• Waiting charges if the driver waits beyond the free waiting time
• Cancellation fees (if applicable)
• Cleaning fees for damage to the vehicle

4.4 Receipts

Upon request, we will provide a receipt or invoice for your trip.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation by Customer

• Free Cancellation: Cancel up to 1 hour before the scheduled pickup time at no charge
• Late Cancellation: Cancellations within 1 hour of pickup may incur a cancellation fee
• No-Show: If you fail to show up for your ride, the full fare may be charged

5.2 Cancellation by GMP Cabs

We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to:

• Driver unavailability or vehicle breakdown
• Adverse weather or road conditions
• Safety concerns
• Force majeure events

If we cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund.

5.3 Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

As a passenger, you agree to:

• Provide accurate pickup and drop-off information
• Be ready at the pickup location at the scheduled time
• Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
• Comply with traffic and safety regulations
• Not smoke, consume alcohol, or use illegal substances in the vehicle
• Not carry prohibited items (weapons, explosives, etc.)
• Ensure children are properly restrained (car seats if required)
• Not engage in disruptive, abusive, or illegal behavior
• Pay the agreed fare and any additional charges

7. Driver Rights and Safety

Our drivers have the right to:

• Refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated, abusive, or pose a safety risk
• End a trip if a passenger violates these Terms or behaves inappropriately
• Request payment before starting the trip (for cash payments)
• Take breaks during long trips as required by law

Passenger safety is our top priority. All drivers undergo background checks and vehicle inspections.

8. Luggage and Belongings

8.1 Luggage Allowance

Standard luggage allowances apply based on vehicle type. Oversized or excessive luggage may require a larger vehicle or incur additional charges.

8.2 Lost Items

We are not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged during your trip. However, we will make reasonable efforts to help you recover lost items. Please contact us immediately if you leave something behind.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

9.1 Service "As Is"

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GMP Cabs shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Delays caused by traffic, weather, or events beyond our control
• Actions or omissions of third-party drivers (we are a booking platform)

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the trip in question.

9.3 Insurance

All our vehicles are insured as required by law. However, passengers are encouraged to maintain their own travel and health insurance.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of GMP Cabs or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify our website or software

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our services to:

• Engage in illegal activities or transport illegal goods
• Harass, threaten, or harm drivers or other passengers

15. Termination
